Now it was time to put on my jewelry, shoes, and garter. The necklace was my something new, and the hankie was my something old - an Irish bridal hankie gifted to me by a teacher at my elementary school back when I graduated high school. I've kept it tucked away for many years, waiting for this day.

Mom helped with the necklace. You might recognize it as the same necklace that Mrs. Bunting wore at her wedding! Great bee minds think alike. :)
